Arguably, no industry has been changed more by technology than printing. We have been in the printing business since the ‘90s and have watched as traditional offset printing gave way to digital printing of ever-increasing quality, and services that were previously stratospheric in price became affordable for all.
Initial Print was established in 2006, located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Recently relocated to the Portside area, new open space facility over 4,000 sq ft, equipped with cutting edge printing technology for our team to serve you better.
Our small team has a long history, in some cases going back to high-school graphics class. Each has their specialty, be it pre-press, production, graphic design or customer service. Deliveries of finished materials are made by hand where possible, with an emphasis on speedy and personal service.
We are proud to be the one of the first Xerox press with special metallic toner installed in Western Canada in December 2018, this allows us to produce as little as a single copy of full color plus metallic colored sheet at a very affordable price. We also installed the new Ricoh Pro C7200, where we can add clear or white toner in addition to CMYK to get more highlights to artwork and colored paper stock. Our 104” grand format printer will take care of any car bumper sticker, indoor posters and outdoor banner to construction site fence wraps.
In this age of outsourcing, cookie cutter design templates, and overseas suppliers, Initial Print stands out for its welcoming atmosphere. The shop does a brisk walk-in trade, as well as regular printing for clients like the Red Cross, YWCA, YMCA, and numerous cultural organizations.
